G. Papandreou asked IMF’s help before asking the EU

Dominique Strauss-Kahn during an interview he gave to the French CANAL+ for the Dimanche+ (Sunday+) program, he said that the Greek PM George Papandreou had contacted him to ask financial help for Greece before asking the EU. This is something that Mr. Papandreou has denied in the past. The French journalist said that these questions have been cut from the final version of the interview that will be broadcast due to the fact that they are not very relevant to their documentary. Mr Strauss-Kahn also mentioned that he has a good relationship with the FinMin of Greece,  Mr Papakonstandinou and he spoke nicely of him.
